MY WORK EXPERIENCE

Research Assistant at the Santa Clara University School of Engineering. Under the guidance of Professor Alka Shah-Jarvis, formulated an AI model development lifecycle. This framework provides a detailed outline regarding the development of AI models which prioritizes interpretability, transparency, & ease of use over increased complexity. Further developed an audit framework to ensure that all the critical factors have been considered during model development. The research work was presented to the Dean of the School of Engineering.

Teaching assistant for the course CSEN 288 instructed by Professor Alka Shah-Jarvis.

Teaching assistant for the course CSEN 210 taught by Professor Ramzi Nofal. I had several responsibilities including:
1. Preparation of homework assignments & solutions.
2. Grading student submissions.
3. Office hours to clarify student queries & offer constructive feedback.
4. Held mock presentations to review & offer suggestions regarding pipeline design.
5. Regular meetings with Professor Nofal to review course progress, plan for upcoming lessons, & prepare course material.
Critical concepts: MIPS Instruction Set Architecture, Multi-Cycle Datapath, Pipeline, Caching, Virtual Memory, CPU v/s GPU.

Carried out research in Online Social Network (OSN) security with emphasis on sybil detection, adaptive crawling & fairness. Identified ways to improvize and build upon exisitng techniques by using a combination of machine learning & graph based techniques.

Analyzed and designed charts and dashboards for revenue data. Identified optimal product and service combinations to boost revenue. Conducted a comprehensive review of existing security systems. Implemented machine learning algorithms to enhance the system's resilience against evasion and poisoning attacks.

One month internship as per VTU requirements.

(Cyber Security based internship) Implemented web penetration testing on the available servers. Employed WPScan and brute-force testing to uncover vulnerabilities in the servers. Identified critical user account vulnerabilities and provided actionable recommendations for remediation.

Received the outstanding project presentation award during the presentation phase.

Utilized machine learning algorithms to examine organisational data with respect to sales, revenue & marketing.

Team leader for a group project which involved usage of different machine learning algorithms to develop heart disease classifiers as part of the company's educational initiatives.
